[2014UNPOSTED2]Knocking on Death's Door

 I was really planning on posting this here but for some reason i must had forgotten. 

It's my oc Poi. Shes actually just a fighting game character I made up but she's supposed to act as a bridge to the afterlife in her background story. The plushies are alive with the tortured souls she had collected, the idea is that she enables everyone, even technically bad people to pass away peacefully so no weird curse-like things happen between the living and dead but in return she carries their burdens for them. So her plushies often move and twist around restlessly since they're quite the chaotic bunch but she has full control over them.

Generally speaking this picture was meant to be a coloring experiment. I get addicted to cross hatching half the time so i just tried to make that work. But in terms of what's happening, she has pretty much collected a fresh soul and is going back into the afterlife to chill for a bit but is taken by surprise (she doesnt have much emotion going for her in general) that a loved one of the just recently deceased has came in and discovered so and so dead. So she looks back and watches the scene and contemplates for a bit before leaving. She can't be seen by them but yeah.
